Ningbo Energy plans to invest in 50MW/100MWh independent energy storage power station project

Ningbo Energy announced on June 29 that its wholly-owned subsidiary Langchen New Energy plans to invest 265 million (USD39.55 million) in the construction of 50MW/100MWh independent energy storage power station project, which will use both lithium iron phosphate battery and lithium titanate battery with an effective capacity of 45MW/90MWh and 5MW/10MWh respectively.
On the same day, Ningbo Energy also announced that Langchen New Energy intends to invest 82.85 million (USD12.36 million) to build energy storage equipment investment project for Wanhua Chemical (Ningbo) Thermal Power Co., Ltd. The project is expected to apply energy storage system composed of lithium iron phosphate cells with an estimated construction period of 3 months.
