India postpones issuance of final anti-dumping ruling on electrogalvanized steel from three countries including South Korea

On June 24, 2022, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India announced that it received the Office Memorandum from the Ministry of Finance on the same day on approving the postponement of the final ruling against electrogalvanized steel originating in or imported from South Korea, Japan and Singapore, which was extended to July 27, 2022.
On June 28, 2021, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India announced that in response to an application submitted by an Indian company, it would launch an anti-dumping investigation against electrogalvanized steel originating in or imported from South Korea, Japan and Singapore. The case involved products under Indian customs codes 7210, 7212, 7225 and 7226 as well as some products under 7209 and 7211 . On June 8, 2022, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India applied to the Ministry of Finance by email for an extension to issue the final ruling of the case.
