Raw coal output in Inner Mongolia up by 17% YoY in May

The latest data showed that in May 2022, the raw coal output in Inner Mongolia was 97.481 million tons, up by 17.0% YoY with the growth rate rising 2.2 percentage points compared with last month. The average daily output of raw coal was 3.145 million tons, and it is the eighth consecutive month for the average daily raw coal output exceeding 3 million tons since coal supply guarantee policy was implemented in October last year.
From January to May, industrial enterprises above designated size in Inner Mongolia produced 489 million tons of raw coal, up by 15.2% year on year.
