Brazil reports higher niobium ferroalloys export in May

Brazil exported 6,841 mt of niobium ferroalloys in May, up from 6,301 mt in April, according to customs data.
The exports in May include 5,353 mt to Asia (4,102 mt to China), 805 mt to Europe, 507 mt to U.S., 82 mt to South Africa, 73 mt to Canada and 21 mt to South America.
As the world's biggest producer of niobium ferroalloys, Brazil exported 92,000 mt of the material in 2021, with total revenues of USD2.09 billion, and 36,768 mt for the first five months of 2022, with total revenues of USD897 million.
