Shida Shenghua Chemical to invest RMB3.374 billion in building two electrolyte projects

Shida Shenghua Chemical announced on June 16th that it will establish a subsidiary, Shenghua New Energy Technology (Meishan) Co., Ltd., to invest in building a 200,000tpy electrolyte project and its supporting facilities. The project is expected to have a total investment of RMB2.15 billion (USD323.03 million) and go into production in December 2023 after a construction period of 18 months.
Shida Shenghua Chemical also announced on June 16th that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Shenghua New Energy Technology (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. will build a 200,000tpy electrolyte project and its supporting utility engineering. With a total construction period of 16 months, the project is expected to have a total investment of RMB1.224 billion (USD183.90 million) and go into production in October 2023.
