Chongqing Zuhang Steel's capacity replacement scheme made public

In accordance with relevant guidelines and implementation measures issued by the State Council, the capacity replacement scheme of Chongqing Zuhang Steel Co., Ltd. was recently made public by Chongqing Economic and Information Commission for a period of 20 working days.
According to the scheme, the company will build a 130-ton electric arc furnace with capacity of 1.01 million tons per annum to replace its existing two 70-ton electric arc furnaces with the same capacity combined at the ratio of 1:1. Construction of the new furnace is scheduled to commence in November 2022 with production projected in December 2023.
