Shandong's photovoltaic installed capacity to reach 65 million kilowatts in 2025

On June 10, the Shandong Provincial People's Government Information Office held a press conference on the construction of a new power system to help achieve the dual carbon goal. During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Shandong will accelerate the development of renewable energy. By 2025, the province's wind power installed capacity will reach 28 million kilowatts and photovoltaic installed capacity will reach 6,500 MW. By 2025, more than 10 million kilowatts of energy-saving transformation of coal-fired power units will be completed, and the average standard coal consumption of coal-fired power supply in the province will fall to about 295g/kWh. By 2025, the scale of new energy storage facilities will reach 5 million kilowatts.
