Four rare earth projects in Baotou receive Region's major special funds

Recently, four rare earth projects in Baotou won the first batch of RMB12.58 million (USD1.88 billion) for 2022 major science and technology special funds from the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region government after evaluation and approval.
In particular, Baotou Research Institute of Rare Earths' three projects, "high-performance anisotropic hot-pressing NdFeB permanent magnet material industrialization technology development project", "rare earth polishing materials and device key technology research project for large size display glass substrate with advanced generations" and "high-energy density rare earth hydrogen storage materials and renewable energy storage conversion technology demonstration project" received RMB3.74 million (USD 0.56 million), RMB3.06 million (USD 0.46 million) and RMB3.54 million (USD 0.53 million) respectively. And another project of Inner Mongolia Xinyu Rare Earth Functional Materiais Co., Ltd.'s "research on preparation technology and application of high-end nano rare earth polishing materials" was allocated for RMB2.24 million (USD0.33 million).
