Steel output of key industrial enterprises in Inner Mongolia rises by 4.3% in mid-May

The Department of Industry and Information Technology of Inner Mongolia monitored the production of 393 key industrial enterprises in eight industries including agricultural and animal products processing, metallurgical, chemical, building materials, equipment, new materials, biomedicine and energy in mid-May.
The metallurgical industry saw stable production in mid-May compared with early May and 39 new enterprises, accounting for 43.8% of the monitored enterprises in the industry. In particular, the output of aluminum products and steel increased by 6.7% and 4.3% respectively from early May, while that of primary aluminum, zinc products, ferroalloy, etc. remained unchanged under stable production.
