Yangjie Technology plans to acquire 40% equity of Chuwei Semiconductor

Yangjie Technology announced on June 6 that it has received the "Transaction Signing Notice" issued by China Beijing Equity Exchange on June 2, 2022, confirming the company as acquiring party of Chuwei Semiconductor's 40% equity transfer project with a transaction value of RMB295 million (USD44.25 million). When the transfer is completed, Chuwei Semiconductor will become a shareholding subsidiary of Yangjie Technology.
Chuwei Semiconductor mainly focuses on the businesses of semiconductor wafer manufacture and service, and its main products are semiconductor equipment, complete sets of equipment and trusted chip manufacturing solutions. At present, it has realized the large-scale production of 8-inch diameter wafer production lines, with a monthly output of 10,000 pieces and the production capacity continuing to climb.
