In accordance with relevant guidelines and implementation measures issued by the State Council, the capacity replacement scheme for the 50-ton electric furnace project of Baowu Teye (Ma'anshan) Gaojin Technology Co., Ltd. was made public by the Economy and Information Technology Department of Anhui Province on May 26.
According to the scheme, the company will build a 50-ton electric furnace with steelmaking capacity of 360,000tpa to replace its other two existing furnaces to be shut down. The capacity replacement ratio is 1:1.
The company plans to commence construction of the new facility in June 2022.
