On May 19, a construction commencement ceremony was held for Geely Auto's Fuling 12GWh power battery project. With a planned land area of 480 Mu (32 hectares) and construction area of 310,000 square meters, the project is expected to further optimize new energy industrial structure of Fuling and expand local advanced manufacturing capacity.
