According to China's State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC), by April 30, SPIC's installed new energy capacity under construction reached 5.5GW and installed capacity connected to grid totaled 3.15GW in 2022.
In 2021, SPIC's newly-added installed capacity recorded 23.92GW and the total installed capacity at the end of the year was 195GW, with installed clean energy capacity accounting for 61.5%. By the end of 2021, its PV installed capacity totaled 38.05GW, ranking first in the world, and installed wind power capacity totaled 36.16GW, ranking second in the world.
