India's largest iron ore producer, state-controlled NMDC reported a marginal increase in iron ore production and sales in April.
The company's iron ore output in April inched up by 0.6% YOY to 3.15 million tonnes, while sales rose by about 0.9% YOY to 3.12 million tonnes.
The producer registered all-time high output of 42.15 million tonnes and sales of 40.7 million tonnes in the April 2021-March 2022 fiscal year.
