According to Khorgos customs, in the first three months of 2022, a total of 197,000 tons of iron ore were imported through Khorgos Port with amount of RMB170 million (USD25.82 million)
Iron ore products imported through Khorgos Port mainly include iron ore, iron concentrate and pellet, which are all produced in Kazakhstan. The products imported will be processed into billet, steel product, steel frame and other products in Xinjiang and then sold to all parts of the country.
