CISA: Major steel mills' average daily output of crude steel reaches 2.24 million tons in mid-April

Based on the data released by China Iron & Steel Association (CISA), during mid April 2022, major steel mills' average daily output of crude steel reached 2,235,600 tons, up by 0.52% MoM, their daily output of pig iron totaled 1,956,100 tons, down by 0.39% MoM, and daily output of steel products stood at 2,154,900 tons, increasing by 3.20% MoM.
In mid-April, their stocks of steel products recorded 19,667,200 tons hitting a new high for the year, up by 6.38% or 1,179,100 tons than early April.
