Peru's zinc production down by 12.8% YOY in Feb

Peru, the world's second largest zinc producing country, produced 116,884 tonnes of zinc in February 2022, down by 12.8% from 134,092 tonnes mined in February 2021, according to the Ministry of Energy and Mines of Peru (MINEM).
MINEM said that this decrease was mainly due to the lower zinc production volume reported by Companía Minera Antamina S.A. (-4.4%) and Nexa Resources Peru S.A.A. (-2.3%).
