Chinese stainless steel prices witnessed different trends during this month. Prices of 304 grade stainless HRC and CRC, 430 grade stainless CRC, 300 series stainless steel bar and 304 grade stainless seamless pipe in major markets of China went up further during the month mainly supported by higher raw material prices and the increase in steel mills' EXW prices, while those of 201 grade stainless HRC and CRC dropped on weak demand. Because of the COVID-19, traders in some regions like East China could not deliver materials regularly due to logistics problems and the market sales performance was quite bad.
