Fuxin Iron & Steel's capacity replacement project made public

In accordance with relevant guidelines and implementation measures issued by the State Council, the capacity replacement program of the electric arc furnace upgrading and rebuilding project of Longnan Fuxin Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. was made public by the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Jiangxi Province on April 2.
According to the replacement program, Longnan Fuxin Iron & Steel will shut down steelmaking capacity of 1 million tons per annum (mtpa) and build capacity of 1.5 mtpa; Jiangxi Yuanxing Iron & Steel will shut down 0.5 mtpa of capacity. The ratio of the replacement is 1:1.
According to the replacement program, Longnan Fuxin Iron & Steel will shut down steelmaking capacity of 1 million tons per annum (mtpa) and build capacity of 1.5 mtpa; Jiangxi Yuanxing Iron & Steel will shut down 0.5 mtpa of capacity. The ratio of the replacement is 1:1.
