Hindustan Zinc reports best-ever mined metal production in FY22

Hindustan Zinc Limited on April 6 announced its production results for the fourth quarter and full year ended March 31, 2022.
The company achieved best-ever mined metal production crossing 1 million mark to reach at 1,017,000 tonnes in FY22, up by 5% YoY. This was supported by higher ore production across the mines.
The company also reported ever-highest refined metal production at 967,000 tonnes in FY22, up by 4% YoY, including integrated zinc production of 776,000 tonnes, up by 8% YoY, and integrated lead production of 191,000 tonnes, down by 11% YoY.
Mined metal production for Q4 FY22 was ever highest at 295,000 tonnes, up by 17% as compared to Q3 FY22 and up by 3% as compared to Q4 FY21.
Q4 FY22 refined metal production was 260,000 tonnes, up by 2% YoY and flat sequentially. Integrated zinc production was at 211,000 tonnes, up by 8% as compared to Q4 FY21 and down by 1% sequentially . Integrated lead production was 49,000 tonnes for Q4 FY22, down by 19% as compared to Q4 FY21.
