3.5 million tons stainless steel project of Inner Mongolia Jing'an started

On April 1, Inner Mongolia (Naiman) Jing'an Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd. held a groundbreaking ceremony for the stainless steel rolling and pickling project.
The project, with a planned investment of 5.69 billion yuan (893 million US dollars) and an annual production of 3.5 million tons of stainless steel coil, would adopt the international advanced continuous casting and rolling technology to build three new single slab casters, one 1,450mm rolling line and one 1,050mm rolling line and supporting facilities, four hot rolled stainless steel annealing and pickling lines, one five-stand cold rolling line, two cold rolled stainless steel annealing and pickling lines and auxiliary facilities.
