Henan: Secondary aluminum output to reach 3.8 million tons by 2025

Recently, Henan Provincial Development and Reform Commission issued the "14th Five-Year Plan" for the development of circular economy in Henan Province (hereinafter referred to as the "plan"), pointing out the direction for ensuring the safety of resources and improving the quality of ecological environment in the province.
The plan proposes that by 2025, the output rate of main resources in the province will increase by about 20% compared with 2020, the utilization of steel scrap will reach 12 million tons, the output of secondary nonferrous metals will reach 4.95 million tons, among which the output of secondary copper, secondary aluminum and secondary lead will reach 450,000 tons, 3.8 million tons and 700,000 tons respectively, and the output value of the resource recycling industry will reach 200 billion yuan (31.64 billion US dollars).
