Volt Resources raises $2.5 million to advance graphite projects

Australian graphite and battery anode material company Volt Resources recently announced that it has received firm commitments from existing shareholders and new investors for a $2.5 million share placement.
Proceeds from the placement will be used to advance Volt Resources' projects, which include the development of its Bunyu graphite project in Tanzania.
The company said funds from the capital raise would also go towards continuing its development plans to become a battery graphite materials producer in the US and Europe.
