1. Market Highlights
Encouraged by tight supply and strong demand, Chinese imported tantalum concentrate and niobium concentrate prices increased in January. Due to increased raw materials prices, Chinese tantalum oxide, tantalum metal, niobium oxide and ferroniobium prices increased accordingly.
As most suppliers had confidence in the market, European tantalite and ferroniobium market prices increased this month. Encouraged by increased tantalum scraps prices, American tantalum metal market prices increased in January.
