In domestic market, the prices remained stable as most of buyers already built up stocks for holiday, and the market saw very few deals in the 2nd half of January. For chemical grade silicon metal, major consumers prepared stocks in the 1st two weeks of January, and they stopped purchasing in the 2nd half of January. In export market, exporters stopped quotation as they could arrange shipment due to approaching holiday of Chinese New Year, and prices remained stable.
