Prices of non-grain oriented electrical steel in major markets of China kept the downward trend during this month on weak demand and the decrease in steel mills' EXW prices, while those of grain oriented electrical steel went up further mainly supported by the increase in steel mills' EXW prices and the insufficient supply from steel mills. With the arrival of the Spring Festival holiday, customers just purchased materials upon orders and the market sales performance remained unsatisfactory.
