EU launches first anti-dumping sunset review on steel tube and pipe butt-welding fittings originating in China

On 26 January 2022, the European Commission issued a notice initiating the first sunset review of anti-dumping investigation on Stainless Steel Tube and Pipe Butt- Welding Fittings originating in Mainland China and Taiwan, China at the request submitted by Defence Committee of the Stainless steelbutt-welding Fittings industry of the European Union. The product subject to this review is currently classified under CN codes ex 7307 23 10 and ex 7307 23 90 (Taric codes 7307 23 10 15, 7307 23 10 25, 7307 23 90 15, 7307 23 90 25). The investigation of a continuation or recurrence of dumping will cover the period from 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2021. The examination of trends relevant for the assessment of the likelihood of a continuation or recurrence of injury will cover the period from 1 January 2018 to the end of the investigation period.
