Sunway to participate in establishment of power energy storage battery anode material integration project

Sunway announced on January 16th that it signed investment agreements with the municipal government of Leshan, Sichuan, Conch Venture and other parties on January 14th to invest in building the New Energy Southwest China Manufacturing Base Project in Leshan National High-tech Industrial Development Zone. The above action indicates that Sunway, which mainly does special cable business, launches power energy-storage battery anode material business for the first time.
On the same day, Sunway and Conch Ventures also signed an agreement on the joint investment and construction of the phase one 40,000tpy project of a 200,000tpy power energy-storage battery anode material integration project covered in the aforementioned investment agreements. The two parties will establish a joint venture, namely Sichuan Sunway New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., to operate this investment project.
