1. Market Highlights
As demand picked up, Chinese imported tantalum concentrate and niobium concentrate prices increased in December. Encouraged by higher production cost, Chinese tantalum oxide, tantalum metal, niobium oxide and ferroniobium prices increased accordingly.
As most consumers remained active in placing orders, European tantalite and ferroniobium market prices increased this month. Encouraged by higher raw material price, American tantalum metal market prices increased in December.
