Prices of non-grain oriented electrical steel in major markets of China went down further during this month because of customers' slow buying activities and the decrease in steel mills' EXW prices, while those of grain oriented electrical steel kept the upward trend mainly supported by the increase in steel mills' EXW prices and the tight supply from steel mills. Customers without urgent need for materials mostly took cautious attitudes towards the market outlook and placed orders sparingly.
