Tuopu Group to advance NEV project in Chongqing through new wholly-owned subsidiary

Ningbo Tuopu Group announced on December 27 that it plans to set up a wholly-owned subsidiary, tentatively named Tuopu Automotive Chassis System (Chongqing) Co., Ltd., in Shapingba District, Chongqing to further meet surging demand from NEV customers in southwestern China, especially in Chongqing. The registered capital for the new subsidiary is RMB500 million (USD78.5 million) and would be increased subject to further business expansion.
According to the company's announcement, Tuopu Group recently entered into an investment agreement with the government of Shapingba District on the construction of NEV products production base.
