Some suppliers had intention to sell in small volumes to liquidate, and prices generally showed the downtrend. The demand from the cemented carbide market kept weak, so suppliers had to slightly reduce prices to probe the market . As to the international market, the tungsten exports declined in August . Due to the weak demand in the summer break and slight fall of prices in China, consumers mainly held a wait-and-see attitude and the international market saw scarce deals.
