Jintian Copper to build 120,000tpy high-precision copper alloy strip project

Jintian Copper announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Guangdong Jintian New Material plans to invest 1.35 billion yuan (210 million US dollars) to build a high-performance high-precision copper alloy strip project with an annual production capacity of 120,000t. The project is expected to begin commercial production in 2024 following a planned construction period of about 31 months.
The outlook for the project is promising as it focuses on meeting demand for high-precision oxygen-free copper strip and high-strength alloys with excellent resistance to high heat and corrosion, and at the same time, caters to the development of 5G network, new energy vehicle, copper used for high-end electronic device frame and connector assembly, copper strip for transformer and other fields.
