On June 28, the first phase of the 900,000tpy carbon project of Sunstone Yunnan Aluminum Carbon Material Co., Ltd. started operation.
The project is a cooperative project jointly invested and constructed by Sunstone Development Co., Ltd. and Yunnan Aluminum Co., Ltd. Located in Zhanyi Industrial Park, Qujing City, the project officially started construction in June 2020, covering an area of about 550,000 square meters with a total investment of 2.71 billion yuan (420 million US dollars).
