Chinese stainless steel prices went up further during this month due to higher raw material costs and the increase in steel mills' EXW prices. However, because of the Spring Festival holiday, customers were mostly purchasing upon orders and the market sales performance continued to be unsatisfying. Traders were reluctant to build large stockpiles to avoid risks.
