Taiwan Yieh United Steel and Walsin Lihwa lift stainless steel quotation for January next year

With rising nickel prices in international market, leading enterprises in Taiwan like Yieh United Steel lifted its stainless steel quotation for January, 2021 on December 30. In domestic market, 300 series stainless steel plates and coils were increased by TWD5,500/t (USD196/t), 430 series products were increased by TWD4,000/t (USD142/t), and 316 stainless steel alloy surcharges were increased by TWD1,000/t (USD35.59/t). In overseas market, 300 series stainless steel plates and coils were increased by USD200-250/t, 430 series products were increased by USD150/t, and 316 stainless steel alloy surcharges were increased by USD60/t.
On December 29, Taiwan Walsin Lihwa announced to lift its price of rolled stainless steel for January, 2021, which reflects the rising prices of raw materials like nickel and steel scraps. Among them, 304 series products were raised by TWD6,000/t (USD214/t) at home and USD230/t at abroad; 400 series products were raised by TWD2,000/t (USD71.18/t) at home and USD70/t at abroad.
