Hunan Lesheng to produce high-purity arsenic

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 31 Dec 20 - With a designed production capacity of 200tpy of high-purity arsenic, Hunan Lesheng Chemical Co. expects to produce the material after the Spring Festival and then they would become the biggest producers in China, a source from the company disclosed to Asian Metal.
The source said, "We built a high-purity arsenic plant in early December with a design capacity of 200tpy. It was in the trial operation stage in December. The product has been delivered to foreign customers for testing. We plan to have stable output after the Spring Festival and the monthly output would reach around 10t a month."
The company has invested RMB30 million (USD4,593,000) and hold no stocks now.
Currently, the mainstream prices of Chinese high-purity arsenic hover at RMB950-1,000/kg (USD145-153/kg) EXW D/P, unchanged from the end of last week. Insiders predict that the prices would keep firm in the coming week due to tight supply.
