CISA: Major steel mills' average daily steel products output records 2.14 million tons in mid-Dec

According to the data released by China Iron & Steel Association (CISA), Chinese major steel mills produced about 21.37 million tons of steel products in mid-December 2020. The average daily output was about 2.14 million tons during the period, up by 2.01% MOM and 13.60% YOY.
During the reported period, major steel mills held steel products inventory of about 13.05 million tons, an increase of 370,800 tons or 2.92% from early December while up by about 3.52 million tons or 36.91% from early this year. The figure was also up by 18.54% or about 2.04 million tons from the comparable period of last year.
