NSSC raises contract prices for nickel-based stainless steel wire products

NSSC announced on December 21 that it would increase the price of stainless steel wire products for the contracts signed from December 2020 to February 2021 (delivered from January to March 2021). The price for SUS304 nickel-based benchmark steel grade will be raised by YEN15,000/t (base price remains unchanged and alloy surcharge increases), while the price of SUS430 chromium-based benchmark steel grade remains unchanged. This is the second consecutive quarterly price increase for nickel-based stainless steel wire products, reflecting the increase of the prices of nickel and other stainless steel raw materials.
