    At the meeting, it was appointed that to implement technical upgrading on fuel providing section of semi-coke and magnesium ingot production is a compulsory requirement from Chinese government as part of its industrial policy. Involved enterprises should fully understand upgrading requirements in carrying out the upgrading process, and also need to expedite their research and development of new-type products so as to extent their semi-coke and magnesium ingot into downstream industries and also to dock with end markets, and finally to ensure local semi-coke and magnesium ingot industries to advance in a sustainable and healthy direction.
