China Shanxi Taihang Mining puts hydrogen-based DRI project into production

On December 20th, the launching ceremony for the 300,000tpy hydrogen-based DRI (direct reduced iron) project of China Shanxi Taihang Mining Co., Ltd. was held at the circular industrial park, Longquan Town, Zuoquan County, Jinzhong City of Shanxi.
China Shanxi Taihang Mining Co., Ltd. plans to produce the first batch of reduced iron products on December 29th. The project fills the technological gap of DRI without gas-based shaft furnace in China and plays a leading and demonstration role in realizing the production of DRI.
