According to the news from State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Shanxi, TISCO overcame temporary operation imbalance and other difficulties resulting from production suspension and overhaul of its blast furnace and recorded steady production and operation, with major production and operation indicators being under stable control and operation performance leading in iron and steel industry. The restructure between TISCO and China Baowu entered implementation stage, indicating new achievements of the company's high-quality transformation development.
In the first eleven months of 2020, TISCO recorded a crude steel output of approximately 9.68 million tons. For the whole year of 2020, the company expects to produce 10.68 million tons of crude steel and 4.18 million tons of stainless steel, and export 708,200 tons of steel and 500,000 tons of stainless steel.
In 2021, TISCO plans to produce 15.25 million tons of crude steel, including 6.5 million tons of stainless steel. By the end of the "14th Five-Year Plan", TISCO will strive to see iron and steel production capacity of 25 million tons and stainless steel production capacity of 15 million tons.
