Amer signs contract to build new materials technology park in Chencang, Baoji

On December 9, Amer International Group signed a contract to build Amer Baoji new materials technology park project with total investment of RMB50 billion (USD7.6 billion) in Chencang District.
The project, with a planned area of 10,000mu (667 hectares), is expected to realize hundred-billion yuan operating revenue. The company plans to invest about RMB20 billion (USD3 billion) in the phase one project with industrial land of 1,000mu (66.7 hectares) where the copper-based new material industry park, titanium metal new material industry park and Amer Northwest headquarter and associated facilities will be built with a five-year construction period. After launching commercial production, the phase one project would realize an annual operating revenue of no less than RMB50 billion (USD7.6 billion).
The total investment for the copper-based new material industry park with industrial output value of no less than RMB20 billion (USD3 billion) is estimated at RMB8 billion (USD1.2 billion), and the park will have an annual production capacity of 250,000t of low-oxygen bare bright copper rod, overhead line for electrified railways, precision copper alloy wire, precision control wire and cable, precision connector, high-performance copper alloy, high-precision electronic copper foil, 5G flexible CCL, advanced printed circuit board PCB and amorphous alloy.
The titanium metal new material industry park will have a total investment of about RMB4 billion (USD611 million) and will become a production base with annual production capacity of 30,000-50,000t of titanium ingot, titanium plate, titanium bar and titanium alloy.
