In order to further strengthen the standardized management of waste lead-acid batteries and crack down on illegal collection, operation, transfer and disposal of waste lead-acid batteries, on September 23, Shaowu Ecological Environment Bureau of Fujian Province organized more than 200 grid inspectors in 19 townships and streets of the city to carry out publicity activities on pollution prevention and control of waste lead-acid batteries.
In the next step, Shaowu Ecological Environment Bureau will continue to carry out special law enforcement actions on waste lead-acid batteries, severely crack down on illegal collection and disposal of waste lead-acid batteries, and maintain the ecological environment in the jurisdiction area. At the same time, relevant units are required to strictly implement the main responsibility of environmental protection and standardize the management of waste lead-acid batteries.
