On September 22, Guangdong Weihua announced that its fully-owned subsidiary Sichuan Shengwei Zhiyuan Lithium Co., Ltd. has put into trial operation the initial 150t lithium metal production facilities of its phase one 600t lithium metal project.
Shengwei Zhiyuan Lithium plans to build a 1,000t lithium metal project which is located in Li-battery industrial park of the Sichuan Shehong Economic Development Zone, with the phase one project to have a 600tpa production capacity.
