On 5 May, 2020, Long March-5 B carrier rocket completed its maiden flight successfully. CNMC Ningxia Orient Group Co., Ltd. supplied Long March-5 B carrier rocket with titanium and titanium alloy bar.
CNMC Ningxia Orient Group Co., Ltd. became a supplier of titanium and titanium alloy products of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation in 2014 and began to supply in 2017. It signed annual cooperation framework agreement regarding titanium and titanium alloy bar used for models with China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology for two consecutive years.
