Recently, eight departments of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, including the Department of Ecological Environment, the Development and Reform Commission, the Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, and the Tax Bureau jointly formulated and printed the special rectification work plan for the collection, transportation and disposal of waste lead-acid batteries. Starting from July this year, they concentrated on launching a six-month special action to severely crack down on the collection, storage, transportation and disposal of waste lead-acid batteries, and strive to reached 40% of the standard collection rate of waste lead-acid batteries by the end of 2020.
