In March 2020, the Aerospace Haiying (Harbin) Titanium Industry Co., Ltd. (Haiying Hatai), an industrial base of the Third Research Institute of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, specialized in high-end titanium alloy products, completed the TA32 high-temperature titanium alloy powder development and parameter optimization of SLM of TA32 powder, which means that China's high-temperature titanium alloy additive manufacturing technology has new development.
After testing, the TA32 titanium alloy powder produced by this technology has excellent performances such as high purity, high sphericity, high fluidity, and high bulk density. Each performance index meets the metal 3D printing process requirements.
