According to the introduction made by Zhu Heng, Deputy General Manager of Sinocera's Technology Center, the project is located in New Materials Industrial Park of Dongying Economic and Technological Development Zone and covers an area of 127mu. The company plans to invest RMB500 million (USD70 . 94 million) in total, including RMB420 million (USD59 . 59 million) for fixed assets and construct four production workshops covering a total area of 50,215 square meters, and tries to start pilot production in December . The project will construct six 3,000-ton-per-annum rare earth functional materials production lines based on independent innovation and produce post-processing key functional materials for gasoline and diesel vehicles and other products, which will meet requirements of the national VI emission standards and break monopoly of overseas producers.
