China, South Korea to strengthen technical cooperation on rare earth new materials

On 7 January, the South Korea-China rare earth new materials technology development seminar host by Korea Institute of Science and Technology and South Korea-China Science and Technology Cooperation center and co-organized by Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of South Korea and Inchon municipal government was held in Songdo, Inchon
With the support from this event, China and South Korea agreed to have comprehensive and regular technical cooperation on rare earth new materials. South Korea also won the opportunity to cooperate with research bodies and enterprises in Jiangxi province, the largest heavy rare earth excavating and processing base in China.
. During the event, Chinese and South Korean experts discussed rare earth recycling, materials, market, standard development and other fields in an extensive and in-depth way.
